Our BELIEFS are
TOOLS for Learning
SELF-WORTH
We believe that each child is as equally important as any other and it is our job to teach them that they are loved, cared for, valuable and worthwhile to this world.
If we succeed teaching our little humans the importance of self-worth, we will form strong and confident adults ready to take upon the world.

LOVE & TRUST
We believe that no human can prosper in life without love and trust. Children should learn that love is an active way of showing affection and accepting others just the way they are today. Once children know about love, they are able to trust, show confidence and faith in someone or something.

POSITIVE REINFORCEMENT
We all want children to behave accordingly, but often times we forget that no person is born knowing what limits and discipline are. It is our role as teachers and parents to instill this knowledge by displaying and teaching children positive ways to deal with negative emotions and learn self-control.

Our Philosophy

OUR CURRICULUM

Nest ELC uses the Creative Curriculum from ages 1 to 5 years old. This research based curriculum uses exploration and discovery as a way of learning. It enables children to develop confidence, creativity and lifelong critical thinking skills and character development.

Facility & Safety

Our facility is specially thought out and organized for preschool children.
Our 3,372 sqft. facility is fully equipped with classrooms, multipurpose rooms, lunch and snack areas.
The gym/exploration space is designed for children to explore drama play, dance and yoga classes.
Our lunch room is a space to introduce children to family style dining, celebrate birthdays and introduce children to educational media.
Our outdoor space is fully equipped for all ages to enjoy outside play.
The SAFETY of our children is our #1 priority. Nest ELC is equipped with 14 security surveillance cameras, secured access control door and a biometric check-in station.

Earth Friendly

At Nest ELC we believe that children should learn from the earliest stages in life how to preserve and appreciate the environment.
We will not serve food to our children in any kind of disposable plastic material, emphasizing the importance of waste reduction.

Nest ELC wants to cultivate in children a love for nature, and also the joy in taking care of it.

Gardening workshops will take place constantly as teaching tools to encourage learning and exploration.

Healthy Habits

Nest ELC believes that healthy habits are created in the earliest stages of life. One of our main goals is to help our children and parents learn about healthy food and habits. We give a lot of thought to our monthly menus and we select only the best food for our children and staff. We provide 3 nutritious meals throughout the day: breakfast, lunch and a snack.

Mrs. Maria was born and raised in La Paz- Bolivia, where she obtained her law degree. While in Bolivia, she was a legal intern for Unicef and the United Nations.
In 2016, Mrs. Maria decided to move to Naples and start her family with her husband Andres. Mrs. Maria is expecting her first baby February 2023, Theo.
She completed her Master’s Degree in International Law at the University of Miami while working for the local non-profit Big Brothers Big Sisters for over a year.
One day, the idea of opening a childcare center started growing but seemed very far away. Nevertheless, the idea became a reality and Nest was created after a year-long process. Mrs. Maria has been running Nest ELC ever since, learning every day from the families and children she gets the chance to meet.
“Nest, the children and the staff have become my family. I love coming to work and creating new memories for the little ones. Nest is the best thing that has ever happened to me”
